CLAY & METAL SCULPTURE
"The
simple and the sublime live together in two materials united by inspiration. After heavy tropical rains, the ancient industrial
days of past harvests in Hawai'i are revealed in old metal pieces that rise slowly from the red dirt of West Maui. The work explores the interplay and eventual unity of clay and steel together by the use of shape, light,
and shadow to ultimately develop and define the relationship between form and space."
